Hot-desking

To allow for essential works to take place, the hot-desking space at Eddington will be closed from Friday 6 December to Friday 31 January. Find out about alternative arrangements here

The quiet working space for postdocs is open 24 hours a day, Monday to Sunday.

There are 14 hot-desks and 11 monitors available.

Once you complete the online induction, you can visit the Postdoc Centre at Eddington to get your University card activated for access to the centre.

Postdocs at University Partner Institutes will be issued with a temporary access card.

We recommend contacting us at contact.pda@admin.cam.ac.uk before coming to get your card activated, as our team do not always work from Eddington.

Quiet Booths

To allow for essential works to take place, the quiet booths will be unavailable from Friday 6 December to Friday 31 January.

We have three quiet booths at Eddington, which provide a space for postdocs to take calls or join online meetings.

These are available at the discretion of the Postdoc Academy as they are located inside the Multi-Function Space.

You can book to use a booth, up to two weeks in advance, using the Postdoc Centre Booking Form.
