Postdoc Academy

The Postdoc Centre @ Eddington is the University’s flagship Postdoc Centre, purpose-built in 2017 as the first of its kind in the country.

It provides a permanent space for postdocs at the heart of the University’s newest, intellectually vibrant community.

There is a quiet working area and bookable spaces including a small meeting room, a multi-function room and a large, versatile seminar hall

The Postdoc Centre is available to postdocs for events related to their professional development. This may include research seminars, postdoc committee meetings and training events.

The Postdoc Academy also encourages the use of the spaces for networking and social events that bring together the postdoc community.

There is also a lounge area to take a break and have the opportunity to meet up with fellow postdocs from across the University.

For regular access to the Postdoc Centre @ Eddington you must attend a Health & Safety induction, taking place Tuesdays at 9.30am. Please email  with your name, CRSid and department to book a place.
