The Postdoc Centre at Eddington is the University’s flagship Postdoc Centre, purpose-built in 2017 as the first of its kind in the country.
It provides a permanent space for postdocs at the heart of the University’s newest, intellectually vibrant community.

Hot-desking
The hot-desking space at Eddington is open to postdocs for quiet working on a first-come, first-served basis, 7am - 11pm seven days a week.
It is no longer necessary to book a time slot. Upon completion of an online induction, you can visit the Postdoc Centre at Eddington to get your University card activated for access to the centre.
Postdocs at University Partner Institutes will be issued with a temporary access card.
We recommend contacting us at contact.pda@admin.cam.ac.uk before coming to get your card activated, as our team do not always work from Eddington.
Event Spaces
Two flexible spaces that can be booked for events:
The Postdoc Centre is available to postdocs for events related to their professional development. This may include research seminars, committee meetings and training events.
The Postdoc Academy also encourages the use of the spaces for networking events that bring together the postdoc community.
