At the end of September we will say a fond farewell to Karina Prasad, who has been Head of the Postdoc Academy since its inception in 2013.
A large part of Karina's 17-year career in the University of Cambridge has been as a champion on behalf of postdocs, driving the development of postdoc support within the University and overseeing the opening of the three Postdoc Centres.
We take this opportunity to thank Karina for the vast contributions she has made to improving the experiences of Cambridge postdocs.
We are delighted to announce that Dr Steve Joy has been appointed to the role of Head of the Postdoc Academy from 1 October.
Steve has spent many years working with Cambridge postdocs through his previous roles at the Careers Service and Cambridge Centre for Teaching and Learning.
