Applications are now open for the September 2025 round of the Postdoc Academy mentoring scheme!
The scheme runs over 9 months, during which you’ll have several meetings with a mentor who will help you make the most of your time as a postdoc.
They will work with you to highlight and work towards your long-term goals, drawing from their expansive experience in industry, academia, or further afield. Your conversations will be driven by you, your needs, and your ambitions.

Are you interested in being a mentor?
We’re always keen to expand our selection of available mentors, with as wide a range of experience and disciplines as possible.
If you’re coming from outside academia, perhaps you have management experience or have worked your way up through various positions in your industry? If you’re coming from within academia, ideally you’d have either teaching or research experience and be at the level of Senior Research Associate (or equivalent).
