Postdoc Academy

The World Economic Forum’s network of Global Future Councils is the world’s foremost interdisciplinary knowledge network dedicated to promoting innovative thinking to shape a more resilient, inclusive and sustainable future.

The network convenes more than 1000 of the most relevant and knowledgeable thought leaders from academia, government, international organizations, business and civil society, grouped in expertise-based thematic councils.

Fellows play a crucial role in these councils by being responsible for capturing, synthesizing and disseminating knowledge and insights from the councils’ deliberations. A number of the councils are looking for postdoctoral researchers to fill their Fellow positions for the period 1 October 2021 – 30 June 2022.

The Fellowship is an unparalleled opportunity for promising scholars to develop design-thinking skills and to build their network while gaining exposure to multistakeholder discussions and working with leading experts from around the world to discuss the most critical issues, generate insights and analysis, and collaborate in shaping agendas, influencing dialogue and inspiring action.
