Postdoc Appreciation Week 2023 takes place from 18-22 September, and there's lots going on at Cambridge and across the UK to celebrate!

Below is a daily programme of events and activities that you'll be able to engage with throughout the week.

 

Monday

Meet the new PdOC committee

The new committee for the Postdoctoral Society of Cambridge was elected in July, so we're highlighting the new members with profiles on social media. Meet your new committee and find out how you can get involved with the fantastic social events and initiatives that they organise. You can also join them on Friday at their pub night!

National Postdoc Conference 2023

The National Postdoc Conference is the only conference in the UK dedicated solely to the celebration of postdoctoral researchers from any university, in any discipline. It aims to bring together the postdoctoral community to navigate the postdoc journey and equip them to thrive in their current role and beyond.

Our first 6 months as postdocs in Cambridge

Networking Lunch at Mill Lane

Join the Postdoc Academy team and fellow postdocs at the Mill Lane Postdoc Centre for networking during Postdoc Appreciation Week. We will provide cakes and fruit - feel free to bring your own lunch to eat while you chat.

PdOC Pub Night

Come by to appreciate and be appreciated by other postdocs on the Friday of the most important week of the year! Join the Postdoctoral Society of Cambridge for a drink at the Granta from 6:30pm onwards.
