Looking to improve your leadership skills? Join our dynamic group coaching programme!
This course offers participants customised learning and development to equip you with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to drive innovation, inspire teams, and achieve your professional goals.
Through engaging group discussions, interactive activities, and personalised reflection, you will benefit from the wealth of experience and perspectives within the group and create meaningful connections with like-minded professionals.

Through engaging group discussions, interactive activities, and personalised reflection, you will:
- enhance your understanding of leadership and assess your current leadership style
- expand your understanding of emotional intelligence, develop a deeper self-awareness and discover ways to manage stress and relationships
- evaluate psychological safety and analyse the role of leaders in promoting healthy team dynamics
- understand what coaching is and how to apply it in day-to-day interactions
- expand your understanding of cultural intelligence and apply it to communication, conflict resolution and time management
- create a personal development plan to improve your skills and achieve your goals.
The six core sessions will take place on Tuesdays from 10:00-12:00 during the following dates:
- 14 May (in person)
- 21 May (online)
- 28 May (online)
- 4 June (in person)
- 11 June (online)
- 18 June (online)
There will also be a one-hour online follow-up session on 16 July (10:00-11:00).
There are 12 spaces for Cambridge postdocs on this course, which are available on a competitive basis.
Interested postdocs must submit an application, including two statements of up to 200 words each on:
- your experience with or aspirations for leadership, including prior training you have had
- why you should attend this course and what benefits you expect to derive.
Please consider your statements carefully as we are looking for evidence of your commitment to the course, an understanding of what it might give you and how you would benefit. Please note - you will not be able to save your work and return to the form once you start entering information.
