Postdoc Academy

The Postdoc Academy runs Welcome Events for all new postdocs - whether your contract is with the University, a Partner Institute or a College.

At these Postdoc Welcome Events, you are given information about the wide range of opportunities and services available within Cambridge - and specifically how they can help you as a postdoc.

There is also an opportunity to talk directly to representatives from these services and to other new postdocs.

The services cover:

  • Support related to your research
  • Career development and support beyond your research
  • HR and other contract and employment-related matters
  • Postdoc clubs, societies and sport
  • Living and family life in Cambridge

Under normal circumstances, Welcome Events are held each term in the Postdoc Centre @ Eddington (105 Eddington Place, CB3 1AS), but they have been held virturally for the duration of lockdown. Dates for the 2020/21 Postdoc Welcome Events will be published here soon, and new postdocs will receive an email invitation.
